The Year of INFINITY

2 + 0 + 1 + 5 = 8 or INFINITY

What does ^^^ mean? In angel numbers, 8 means a year of infinite abundance and prosperity for you and everyone. Yup, that’s right! Buckle up yogis & yogini’s we have a blissful year full of opportunity ahead of us. But how do we create this space within to allow these blessings into our lives? We need to dump out our trash- duh! You know, old habit patterns and ways of thinking, oh and those damn expectations that we so easily grasp onto. When we practice yoga and meditation we are clearing and cleaning out this trash to create more SPACE to receive higher blessings. You can’t fill up an overflowing gas tank, right? Got it??? Good 😉

SO! Lightworkers, the big question now is- what is it that you’re going to manifest?? Because I promise you, whatever thoughts you project out into the universe is exactly what you’re going to get back. Scary? It could be. Exciting? Definitely! This is why we have a regular daily spiritual practice- so we’re ready for whatever challenges come our way. Not only that- but so we concur them and learn to view everything in a positive bright white light!

Now, how do we manifest a life of our wildest dreams?

  • Make a vision board

Coaching Tip Tuesday: Devote a minimum of 15 minutes every day to personal development.

You have to show up for yourSELF before you can show up for anyone else.

Coaching Tip Tuesday2There are countless ways to engage in personal development, whether you decide to pray, practice yoga, meditate, read, journal or watch inspirational videos, etc. the most important thing is that you commit to some sort of PD each and every day:  consistently is key. Personally, I prefer starting my day with personal development before anything else (after brushing my teeth of course). This sets a productive tone of positivelty for the rest of the day. Although I recommend personal development to everyone it is especially vital if you’re a coach or apart of our #freetobefit team. For coaches, I highly recommend participating in the Coach Training Academy that’s on your beachbody coaching homepage. If you’re interested in more information regarding this shoot me a comment or e-mail! Everyone’s PD is different, and that’s okay, even if the type of personal development you engage in is different each day, that’s okay too- what matters if that you take time, every single day to take care of yourself, improve yourself and make strides towards growth!

For example: My own personal development consists of daily prayer, meditation and yoga- more recently I’ve expanded this to researching/acting on improving marketing and branding. Mondays are the National Coach Calls, so that is my personal development on that day. Either way, I hit my PD in the mornings with a cup of tea right after my workout + shower. Don’t be intimidated by my lengthy list of what I do for PD. It’s a huge part of my life but it hasn’t always been so lengthy- my PD started small and yours should too!

Why I listen to Mantra 24/7

When I wake up, when I drive, when I meditate, when I cook, when I eat, when I work, when I teach and when I sleep I play mantra. Okay, so it may not be exactly 24/7 but it sure is close! Why? This is a funny question as I type it because I feel as if you truly want to understand the why, you must learn by experience and saturate yourSELF in mantra.

The science of mantra is based on the knowledge that sound is a form of energy having structure, power, and a definite predictable effect on the chakras and the human psyche.” ~Yogi Bhajan

How Often Should I Meditate?

3 minutes a day is better than 31 minutes once a week.

Did you know, that in as little as 3 minutes you affect your circulation, blood chemistry and electromagnetic field while performing a mantra meditation or kriya? For example, 3 minutes of breath of fire is equivalent of 20 minutes of long deep breathing. Lets be honest, we want the biggest bang for our buck and TIME. We’re all busy and sometimes the ego mind takes over, making excuses as to why we don’t have time to meditate. Again, this is the ego mind talking. Yes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes seems like a long time but 3 minutes? I think our ego can loosen up to that idea. It only takes 3 minutes to completely shift your consciousness and uplift yourself. When we take this time to take care of ourselves, everything else in our lives will take care of themselves! Plugging in our navel center first thing in the morning, again only for 3 minutes- will affect our inner strength, power, outlook and give our body the fresh oxygen it craves.

I’m so passionate about 3 minute meditations because I know how doable they are! First thing before leaving the house:

3 minutes Breath of Fire!

Maybe you try a combination of a few listed above. Dedicate yourself to 3 minutes a day for 40 days to change a habit. Today a friend and I are holding one another accountable for 40 days of Sat Kriya. My experience this morning is what inspired me to write this blog post. I felt so refreshed afterwards, I felt so good about myself and honestly couldn’t stop smiling. I’m excited for these next 39 days, every single one of them. If you’re curious about Sat Kriya here’s an excellent video to learn how and why we do it:

Fearing the word ‘God’

Like many, for years I had a negative connotation associated with the use of the word, “God”. I then discovered the infinite interchangeable words associated with this infinite being. God, to me, is also- Spirit, Divine, Universe, Source, Earth, Mother Nature, Ecstasy, Sat Nam, etc.! Discovering my faith in something higher then myself has been a powerful life-altering and humbling experience. Release all fear of what you might’ve known or have been told. Be honest with yourself NOW and hone in on your heart’s desires and true feelings. Such clearing will align you with the Divine (whether you know it or not).
